After leaving college with a Business Studies qualification and having gained work experience in recruitment I decided I wanted pursue a full-time career in the Recruitment Industry. I took my first job as Sales Support Administrator for an international Accounting and Finance recruiter. It was there I gained a thorough understanding of not only Finance recruitment but the recruitment industry as a whole.
4 years later and having gained solid experience in business support I decided a new challenge was required and it was this decision that led me to join Clearwater in 2007 as Office Manager and PA to the Managing Director. Getting to know and understand a new industry alongside working for a smaller more personable agency opened up opportunities in other areas of the business and I was soon managing my own team of Business & Sales Support Executives. Having the support of a team behind me enabled me to take on additional Human Resources and Operational responsibilities.
My most recent promotion came in October 2015 when I became Operations Manager. This current role allows me to work closely with the key divisions and senior managers of the business ensuring each department runs efficiently. I also take a key role in organising the companies social and charity events, something I particularly enjoy. As one of Clearwater’s ‘old timers’ I have thoroughly enjoyed my journey here over the past 9 years. At Clearwater, we are hugely proud of building career paths for our people and my own journey is a fine example of that.
Outside of work I like to attend music gigs & festivals whenever I can. I have a lifelong passion for football and a keen interest in health and fitness. I also really love cats!
